Due to the delicate nature of handmade jewelry and the use of vintage materials, plated and raw metals as well as handset crystals/pearls. Our pieces can be fragile and should be handled with care.

Keep your accessories away from water, humidity, oils, alcohol and hair sprays. Remove your accessories before showering, bathing, swimming or applying products. As this could harm the metal and reduce the life of the plating as well as cause discolouration and loss of crystal brilliance.

When you are not wearing your accessories they should be stored in an airtight plastic bag or in the original box they came in.

Since some of our metal is raw, untreated brass or silver, it will develop a patina over time. We believe that patina adds to the unique character of the piece. Storing in a dry environment or in an airtight plastic bag will help prevent oxidation. However, if you wish to remove the patina you can clean with a jewelry polishing cloth (we recommend Sunshine cloths).

Gold/Rhodium plated jewelry should not be polished with a compound or jewelry polishing cloth as this may wear the finish down over time. Instead you can wipe clean with a soft damp cloth followed by a dry cloth.
